A cool spot, good atmosphere. I was not a fan of the sunny side burger, with the egg, and I always love an egg on a burger. Should have called it a breakfast burger, which would have indicated what they were going for taste wise. My wife wasn't a fan of the fish and chips. Despite looking great, it was lacking in flavor. Crab dip was fantastic. I'd get that again in a heartbeat. Drinks were good, but bartenders weren't very attentive. They were generally more worried about making drinks for the rest of the restaurant.
This is the best restaurant and bar in Washington County. Located in Boonsboro across from Vesta Pizza. There is only on street parking making it a little difficult to park close but worth the walk. Every bar tender there is absolutely the best, most friendly, makes great drinks, and smiles smiles smiles. On the restaurant side, it is more upscale, classy, and you can still come in causally dressed. The staff there are considered the Tap House Family and it shows. The food is hit and miss, just being honest, but the staff always corrects what is wrong. Late hours menu is awesome and plenty of choices.
Food was awesome!! The beer battered asparagus was great. Don't see that much. I had the burger with fried egg it was delicious. My husband had calamari as appetizer was fresh and crispy. He had fish and chips also very good. We stopped here driving through town and we are only a hour away and I will go back any time I visit family in Hagerstown.
First visit. Food excellent. Good value. Great service. Nice decor. Dan's was recommended by an acquaintance -- I'll go back!
We had an awesome lunch in this cute restaurant. I had their soup of the day which was a Maryland crab soup and it was so good. I also got the Spinach and Greens salad which had locally sourced produce and was fantastic.
