Great place! Campsites are very well maintained. Hiking right in the park as well as close to Appacalachian trail. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I camped here during the week in June. It has a lot to offer for a few nights' stay. We loved the hiking trails! It is also close to the Appalachian Trail which offers great views of the park from a nearby overlook.

Was extremely cold during our visit. Location has a great sandy beach on the lake, plenty of picnic tables and grills and nice open fields. Looks like a great location for large family outings. Bathrooms are closed in the winter though so portapotty's are you're only option.

Best place to swim in a lake. Been going there since 1974, it's only improved over time. Come for the lake stay for the boat rentals.

Nice hiking trails. Lots of picnic tables and of course a gorgeous lake. Admission fee charged ($3 for MD resident).
